Another book haul. A massive one. If this is how I start the year buying like a whole shelf of books then I could just imagine how my room would look like by the end of the year. LOL. . . And this is me trying to minimize the itch to buy books everytime I pass by the bookstore. Perhaps I should rename January as my book haul month.
Where it Began by Ann Redisch Stampler
Hollow Earth by John and Carole E. Barrowman
The Paladin Prophecy (The Paladin Prophecy #1) by Mark Frost
Alliance (The Paladin Prophecy #1) by Mark Frost

The Colossus Rises (Seven Wonders #1) by Peter Lerangis
I wasn't expecting to see a copy of the Paladin Prophecy but since I have been eying this title over at B&N's website, I decided to finally get it before it disappears from the shelf. Then a few days after I went to another bookstore and saw the second book Alliance hangin' out in the open like it was calling to me, sadly I left without buying it since it was a hardcover copy and I only buy paperbacks. The next day, I had to go back and almost cried when I didn't I see it in the spot where I saw it before. But alas, it was just under some other books. So all in all it was a happy moment.
Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell
The Lost Sun by Tessa Gratton
The Burning Sky by Sherry Thomas
Can I just say how ecstatic I am that after weeks of waiting, I finally have a copy of Eleanor & Park. I actually saw the book last year when I got Fangirl but since I just wanted to try out the author if i'd like the writing style, I didn't get this book. But I enjoyed fangirl so I had to scour the rest of the books. Already have attachments, which I just purchased a few weeks ago and this is the only one I was waiting for. Thank goodness I came by the bookstore at a good time, restock time! Ah!!!!!! I took my precious time inspecting the copies for the perfect one. No scratches, smudges on the cover nor dents or folds. Cause I'm OC like that LOL!
Then I ended up purchasing some more hardcover's. I had to make the purchase with eyes closed considering that purchasing two of these is sure to put a dent on my pocket. A hardcover is twice the normal price of one paperback here so yeah these two equals to four paperbacks already. But since I couldn't find a paperback of Burning Sky, I decided to just get the expensive version available. With regards to Lost Sun, let's just say the word Asgard has made me curious * ahem Thor fangirl ahem*. . .
