ERAGON by Cristopher Paolini - I first read this on my kindle but for some reason I never got to finish the whole book, so when I saw a copy for really cheap, I finally decided to give this another shot but on an actual book this time.
SHATTER ME by Tahereh Mafi- Didn't really enjoy reading this before on my kindle so I had to stop halfway through. I kept stumbling across a copy of this one though for some reason and so I decided to give this one another shot as well. Perhaps it'd have more appeal if I read this on a real book.
MERCY by Rebecca Lim- This one I haven't heard before, just relied on gut feel and the intriguing synopsis. I'm actually enjoying this book right now. I might post a review on this soon.
The Screaming Staircase by Jonathan Stroud- The book cover called to me. At first glance the cloaked figures kind of reminded me of HP but maybe that's just me *shrugs*. . .
The Hunt Trilogy: THE HUNT, THE PREY and THE TRAP by Andrew Fukuda- Can't believe that I took the risk of buying a trilogy without even reading the first book. This is what I would call an impulse buy people. But I've heard good things so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I didn't buy all books in one go to be honest. I got each on separate occasions. The first a few weeks prior to the last two, whereas for the said last two I got on succeeding days.
Then the books below, I got on an ongoing booksale:
Archie's Double Digest Magazine 99 php ($2.18)
Heart of the Wolf by Terry Spear 30 php ($0.66)- I got this because, well, it was cheap.
H.I.V.E. The Overlord Protocol by Mark Walden - Didn't know anything about this book but it looked interesting enough based on the synopsis. But this one sadly is the second book of what I think is a series so i'll shelved this one for the time being until I get the first book.
Secrets of a First Daughter by Cassidy Calloway 75php ($1.65)- Also a second book. Gonna be pushed back on the shelf and wait for the first book.
EVERNIGHT(Evernight #1) by Claudia Gray 75 php ($1.65)- I've been curious about this book for a while now so imagine my surprise when I was able to dig this one out of a book pile. It was underneath the said pile. I didn't even care which book in the series this is. I just had to get it. Awesome condition and it was so cheap!
BRIGHT YOUNG THINGS by Anna Godbersen 75 php ($1.65)- Another author I've been curious about. Funny story is I saw this one sitting at the side of the table where the sale books are dumped over. It was just there. Untouched. Unnoticed. I had to literally backpedal, basket in hand and was just standing there staring at the book. This series has mixed reviews but I'm hoping that it would appeal to me like it did to some.
Overall, I think I purchased some really good books and got some good deals as well. Hoping that you all enjoyed this little sharing of mine and don't hesitate to leave comments down below. I'd love to hear from you guys and gals! :)
