Impressions would be basically be about my semi-review of books that I have decided not to finish but would still like to give some thoughts on it, probably on why I decided to put it down or push it behind the shelves.

I had no idea what to expect from this book. I haven't even read any of Sophie Kinsella's books before so I dunno how her writing style would work for me.
But since it was on sale, I decided to get it. Also checked the book out on goodreads after making my purchase and there were not so good feedback about it. I still decided to give it a go anyhow.
I had no issues with the writing style whatsoever. Although I had my reservations on the main character, considering what she does, I still want to understand where she's coming from. But I don't think anything about the story was enough of a justification for her actions. She just came out as obnoxious, self centered, quite narcissistic, money centered with no sense of compassion to others. She grew to be a weaker person of character of so much negativity that I just had to shut this book down.
